Market leaders will showcase the latest developments and trends in bio-based building blocks and polymers at this leading international conference. The final programme is already available and includes among others speakers from the following companies and organisations: Albis (DE), Amyris (USA), Covestro (DE), Evonik (DE), Kaneka (JP), Metabolix (USA), Metsä Fibre (FI), Rennovia (USA), Solvay (BE), TetraPack (SE) and TransFuran (BE). Special focus points of the conference this year are biorefinery concepts, trends in use of lignin and the production of PHA. With seven presentations about PHA, the conference provides a comprehensive overview of this interesting and exciting biodegradable polymer.

Like every year, six innovative bio-based products have been nominated for the desired award “Bio-based Material of the Year 2016”: Amarys Inc. The participants of the conference will vote for the winner after the candidates have introduced their materials in short presentations.
